DIY Floral Crown Tutorial
Channeling my inner Lana Del Rey for my first ever tutorial on the blog.
I've been meaning to try creating this for the longest time, and have finally gotten around to really doing it!
Sifting through the countless tutorials online, I found that most can actually be quite complex and time consuming. But through my own performance, I've come to discover a really quick and simple way to efficiently create a pretty floral crown.

Lucy's Artbook
I have some exciting news to share..
I finally got my own Wacom Tablet!!! I've been wanting one for. ever. I use them to do digital paintings and such, but kept putting off getting one for myself as they can get quite pricy.
I used to just borrow them from my school resources office, but that opportunity vanished after I graduated.
Since then, I've just never had access to the proper tools to do the computer sketches/drawings I used to.
Well all that is about to change! I'm planning on doing them a lot more frequently now, and am hoping to really hone my skills.
Here's some of my past work.

Happy Jar
Happy New Year everyone! Hope you all enjoyed your first few days of the new year.
Do any of you have any new year's resolutions you want to share?
Well this year, I've decided to try something new. I'm going to start a Happy Jar.
The idea is every time something good happens to me, I'm going to write it down on a slip of paper, and put it in my Happy Jar. Then next NYE, I'll open it up and read about all the wonderful things that happened that year. I think it will be a great way to top off 2013 :) focusing on the positive, and reminding me of all the great memories that were created.
I just took a jar I had lying around, and decorated it with some ribbon, twine and a heart made from aluminum foil. The slips of paper are from this cute little notebook I got at the night market for only $1.
I'm really looking forward to filling this jar up with Happy.
